Coming up for air....

Hello all!

I have a lot going on this week between processing TONS of sale orders from our discontinued stamps (70% off in case you didn't know!), drawing and preparing for our digi releases this month (you are going to LOVE them!!!!), planning our 2nd birthday party (which will be held in our PCP group on Monday, November 9th) AND getting ready for Stamping Around PA THIS weekend!!!!

I am really excited about Stamping Around PA because I will be meeting some of the stamping superstars I have admired for a long time like Kim Schofield, Julie Masse, Tammy Hershberger, just to name a few :). I will be teaching a bonus class Friday night. Plus I will be setting up to sell stamps, so I have a lot of prepping to do :).

Before I bury myself in piles and piles of stamps again, I wanted to share a couple cards I made recently that I never got around to posting....

This card was made for the PCP sketch challenge from Saturday as well as the Monday Sweet Treat Challenge #3 (held in our PCP group)....

I used Luke from the new Sunbeams line. The sentiment is from Birthday Buddies and the paper is something I picked up on my shopping excursion with Kathy last week. We had SOOOO much fun :).

This one was made for the Friday Sketchers sketch # 76 from last week....

I used the lovely Christmas Candle digi by Leah Cornelius with MORE of the goodies I bought with Kathy.

And this one was made for last week's Mojo Monday sketch #110....

This card uses another of Leah's pretty digis, Pinecones & Holly. I used the same paper as the card above as well as MORE goodies from my shopping trip :). It was a profitable trip (for me and the places I spent my $$$, hehe).

Thanks for stopping by!

May your day be full of blessings!

Sweet Stop Cocoa

Today's card was made for our newest Sweet Stop sketch, the last one for October. I cannot believe it's already the last day of October! This month has FLOWN by! We've got a brand new guest designer for November. She is sweet as can be with talent to boot. Stop on by to learn more about her and see the Sugar Babies' lovely creations.

We would love to see what you do with our sketches, so come and join the fun!

I used Sweet Cocoa again because he is just TOO SWEET :). I didn't really have room for a sentiment on the front so I put it in the inside. It says, "Sending you warm hugs and cocoa wishes."

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Saturday!

Sweet Cocoa

This little cutie is being released on Digi Day (tomorrow) at SNSS along with the Hot Cocoa Sentiments. He is so much fun to color and the cup is wonderful for paper piecing.

I made this card for today's SCS sketch. I haven't played with a SCS challenge in a while...come to think of it....I haven't STAMPED in a while! I have been so busy preparing for this weekend's release and our birthday celebration. So much to do, so little time! This also qualifies for the Cute Card Thursday challenge this week to use a drink theme :).

Anyway, I paper pieced the cup instead of coloring it for this particular card. The cup actually has snowflakes on it but when I saw this paper by My Mind's Eye, I just knew I had to paper piece it :). Since it's a digi and it already had a pattern that I did not want on the paper, I cut out a printed cup then traced it on the back of the DP, then cut it out ad adhered it to another printed image.

Check out our new DIGI Blog for another sweet sneak peek of these new digis.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy 2nd Birthday
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

We're turning 2 next month and we have oodles of fun in store to make it a birthday to remember...

We're introducing a precious new line of stamps called
The Sunbeams.
This new line consists of 4 characters: Emma, Luke, Owen & Caitlyn. Every few months we will release a new series with a different theme. Each series will only be available for a limited time! Our first series is called Birthday Party in honor of our 2nd birthday :).

The Sunbeams
were named after the song, "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam." It is my hope that these little children will remind you of the precious sunbeams in YOUR life!

We will be offering the whole set as a preorder starting November 1st through November 15th. The cost will be $20 for the Birthday Party Bundle. Once the preorders ship mid-November, we will sell the images individually, however when they are gone, they are gone! So get them while you can!!

We'd love your help in spreading the word about
The Sunbeams so if you grab our badge and add it to your blog sidebar we will enter your name into a drawing to win the whole Birthday Party Bundle!

To enter you must copy the code below,

Meet Luke :)

When I saw this week's sketch over at Friday Sketchers I knew it would be perfect for this new image :)....

This is Luke. His daddy is a pastor. He loves to sing in the children's choir and he wants to follow in his daddy's footsteps when he grows up.

Keep visiting the SNSS DT blogs over the next 2 weeks for more info about Luke and his friends being released at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps next month in celebration of our 2nd birthday :).

Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time,

Let's recycle!

That's the spin on this week's sketch with a spin over at The Sweet Stop. And boy do the Sugar Babies know how to recycle! You will be amazing and inspired by their creativity so be sure to visit each of their blogs to see how they recycled!

For my recycled item, I used the acetate sheets that my stamps come on with Nesties snowflake dies to make clear snowflakes. I then colored them with my Copics, added some stickles and voilĂ ! A lovely snowflake embellishment! I also used Chris Dickinson's lovely Snowflakes stamp set and some pretty ribbon I picked up at Michaels a while back.

I hope you'll join the fun and recycle with us!

Hugs,
Korin

I've got another quick card to share with you today. I have been wanting to use Leah's new Christmas Candle digi since it's release last week so it was the perfect image for today's post :).

Isn't it a beautiful image?? It's a dream to color :) and it's only $2.25!!! What a deal!

Your next stop for today is the amazingly talented Lorie Souther.

Until next time,

Sweet Stop Sketch and a Teaser...

So I have been working on something for a while now.....I am not going to let the cat completely out of the bag but I will share a little hint....

Meet Emma. She loves the Lord and helping her mommy around the house. She wants to be a mommy and teach Sunday School when she grows up.

That's all I am going to say for now, but keep checking back for more about Emma and her friends.

For my card, I used today's sketch from over at The Sweet Stop. Be sure to stop by and check out the Sugar Babies cards and play along!

Until next time....

Thinking of you makes me smile!

I made this card for Sunday's Featured stamper challenge on SCS. I changed it up a bit, but kept the image and theme similar.

This cutie pumpkin is being released on Thursday as a new digi set I illustrated called Country Pumpkin. What would fall be without a smiley pumpkin? :)

Until next time,
Korin
